1. Sydney, Australia

The Australians know how to party hard. This was evident from their celebration of the New Year.

There was a massive dance party at the Bondi Beach. They arranged everything from fireworks, lighted boat parades and even aerial flyovers.

2. New Year City, New York

If you have ever witnessed the celebration of New Year at the Times Square, you know the exact reason why this name is on this list.

The place sees the daylight for roughly 4 hours per day during the month of December. But this is far from taking their spirit and enthusiasm for the New Year celebration.

Sometimes simplicity is the real beauty.

They begin with community bonfires. People gather around the bonfire and sing and dance. As midnight approaches, crowds gather around local landmarks like Perlan and Landakotskirkja church for the best views of the official fireworks display.
