What happened to the Colombian plane carrying Brazilian Soccer Team?


The Avro RJ85 crashed on Tuesday at 06:18 p.m.

It was on its route from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, to Medellin

Total Casualties: 76

Total survivors: Colombia’s civil aviation agency said six people had survived the crash. Though, Brazil’s sports minister told CNN that five people had survived.

For now, three soccer players, two crew members and one journalist survived.

Among them: defender Alan Luciano Ruschel.

The Chapecoense club was founded in 1973. It started to gain widespread fame in recent years. They were set to play the Colombian club team Atletico Nacional in the first leg of the South American Cup finals Wednesday.
